So what have I been up to since I graduated?

Between my search to find an overseas internship for the fall and a summer job, I landed a stint working in the promotional department for, of all places, Warner Bros PicturesIt's in the Field Publicity and Promotions department, and it mainly boils down to putting up posters and holding small contests

:D Thanks! They have university/college "campus representatives" in a lot of US cities, so if you keep an eye on your local Warner Bros Facebook page or something there might be more opportunities in the future. :>

Also I KNOW RIGHT! Except the call's been postponed to next week out of respect for what happened in Denver.

LOL I graduated from university two years ago, so I probably won't be able to see any campus representatives until I decided to go for business/graduate school. I have one friend who had a contract/temp job at Universal Studios and he might be trying to find another job in the entertainment industry (he's interested in marketing and public relations), so I can ask him if he heard of any opportunities similar to this or business related.

Yes, I heard what happened at Denver (just...wow) and yeah a good idea for the call to be postponed.

Also, to answer your question about recording calls, with one of these. You can also do it with an ordinary voice recorder, but the quality could be variable unless you have a cord to hook it into your phone. You could get both at Radioshack.

I literally got your reply as I was in the conference call, but not it's been postponed to next week anyway out of respect for what happened in Denver. Least that means I can buy one of those things now. I'd set up my dad's old tape recorder (we be old school) but the quality is really poor. So you'd recommend something like this? (Radioshack = The Source in Canada.)

XD I actually ended up buying this very device, but the plugs in it were the wrong size. Plus the tape recorder I had was waaaay too loud anyway, so I just ended up recording it on my cell phone. XD I really need to download that though, because it was pretty cool and there were jokes about Ferraris and raves and such. :D
