I found this meme, and figured I'd post it and urge everyone to pass it on, it's got some good points. I'll be posting this also in my writing journal, though I rarely post non-story updates there. I just thought this was a really good thing to share.

Reading this, I realized that this has a decent grasp on the major problems with fanfiction. It simply needed to be written, if only so that some of the nonsense will stop.
