Monday morning came, and for once, Sam was nowhere near the library. He was sure there was work to be done to clean up from the weekend, but all he really wanted to do today was hide as much as possible. Having Dean and Dawn hovering was making that a little more difficult, but he had his own room if the thoughts of how he'd imagined himself

Yeah, good luck trying to hide from the BFF. When Peter couldn't find Sam at the library, he did process of elimination to track him down. He came a-knocking.

Sam glanced at the door, and hesitated for a moment before setting down the book he'd been reading and going to answer the knock. He wasn't all that surprised to find Peter, and gave him a weak smile. "Hey."

"You're okay," Peter said, then went to give Sam a hug. 'cause dude.

Sam didn't mind the hug at all, because it meant Peter was alive and moving and not broken. "Yeah, I'm fine," he said. "Radio said you had some fun last night."

After Meg had gotten some sleep she headed down to the house to check up on everybody. She was bouncing on her heels as she knocked on the door.

Sam answered the knock and smiled when he saw Meg. "Well, if it isn't our heroine."

"That's a title I think I can get used to," she said, reaching up to hug Sam. "How are you?"

"I'm fine," Sam said, letting that become his standard answer today. "How are you? Did you get hurt at all?"

During a break in the visits, Dean looked over at his brother. "So when are you going to tell me what happened down there to you?"

"I wasn't planning on it any time soon," Sam said, barely looking up from his reading. "It wasn't real, it's not a big deal."

"I was down there too, remember?" Dean said quietly. "I know exactly how real it seemed."

"Then you have to understand not wanting to talk about it," Sam said.

Sometime around three, Dawn wandered downstairs, yawning. "Do we have anything to eat?"

"I think we can rustle up something that isn't baby food," Dean told her. "Sleep well?"

"Eventually?" On top of the post-apocalyptic trauma, there'd also been the weirdness of sleeping at the Winchesters'. "I'm okay with baby food, depending on the flavor. No squash."

"How about sandwiches?" Dean said. "Gracie might not like us eating her food."
