Sam headed for the beach in search of Peter, hoping that he was all right. He had a bad feeling that Peter's call to ask him to meet him here wasn't for an entirely positive reason.

Peter put his cellphone away. He'd tried to call Nathan but all he'd got was voicemail. He'd left a message, then noticed Sam. "Hey."

"Hey," Sam said. "How's it going?"

"Good question?" Peter replied. "I'm kinda freaking out here."

"What happened? Are you all right?" Sam looked Peter over for any visible signs that something was wrong.
