1. Dentist appointment went all right yesterday. She tried shooting me up with the Novocaine by herself this time, but apparently, I kept trying to get away from the needle - even with my eyes shut. She ended up giving me more topical numbing stuff and then getting the assistant to come hold my hand and keep me still

I'm glad the dentist went well for you, and that she and the assisstant are nice, and doing their best to make the experience bearable. I know the trouble you've had with dentists, so I'm glad you've found one who understands your problems, and is willing to do what they can to help.

Glad to hear your mum's dog can be easily treated, and that the veterinary costs won't ruin Christmas for her.

I know how tough it is when a pet is sick, but the veterinary costs are high. My mum had similar problems with Suki in the summer, before deciding it was best for the dog to be put to sleep.

I am not a dentist fan either, but when you can find one who knows how to deal with people who are nervous (or horrified!) , it makes it so much better!
