And that was an entire state west. Nearly two, actually...we went from 20 miles shy of the east side of MN over to 20 miles shy of the west side of SD!

Yay that looks like SO much fun!!! I am so jealous! I have pictures of the same iron mine when I went there and Crazy Horse still looks exactly the same as it did when I went back in 1995! *lol*

Your campsite looks really nice, but that stinks it was up hill. Dude if I had to pee in the middle of the night I wouldn't be able to get down! And it is crazy that you guys had such awful storms.

But, the pictures are beautiful!!

You would have loved it, Beth! And believe me, getting down the hill to pee was the least of my worries. And at the bottom of the hill were a couple outhouses. Proper stone/cement ones, but outhouses all the same. The actual toilets were down yet another hill!!
