I don't think so because they said it's not one of the main characters which, to me, means it's not one of the characters in the opening credits.

But maybe that's just wishful thinking...

That's great news! I think they may actually have the best character dynamic this season, and I say that as an avid Shawn/Lassie shipper.
Well NOW I'm looking forward to the finale... I must admit I've been apprehensive due to the ridiculously dark tone of all the spoilers so far (seriously, we're killing someone off? On PSYCH? Guys, it's CO-ME-DY. PLEASE DON'T LET RODAY NEAR THE SCRIPTS ANYMORE. [/rant]), and I'd assumed this episode was going to be all Shawn/Jules-ish (blegh, they've been awful this season), so that is a relief.
