Hi all. I have loved Psych since its first season, but I'm only now getting into online fandom. I've had a lot of fun the past couple of days searching through fic archives and whatnot. I was so excited to stumble across this community, but I've noticed that it's been pretty dead for over two years

I'm trying to think if you would have problems "modding" this comm without being the mod on the account...possibly not. If so, you may want to just start a new comm.

Either way - feel free to pimp over at psych_tv (I'm a co-mod over there...consider this permission/me begging.)

And YES - I would love to write more Psych. It's been too long.

Yeah... I still haven't heard anything from papersoflight. I was thinking that, myself--about some of the possible issues with trying to be the moddish type on a comm that I'm not a mod in. Though, it looks like there just needs to be someone there to post challenges and be encouraging. I guess if things get inappropriate in some way would be the only real need for the 'mod' status.

Maybe I'll hear back from papersoflight, but if not, I'll probably post a challenge on Wednesday, just to see what kind of response I get. It just seems like such a fun challenge. Such a shame that it's not active.

Thanks for the invite to pimp the comm. I will most definitely take you up on that offer. I'll do the pimpage probably once I've posted the challenge on Wednesday.

OK, so after much deliberation, I decided to create a new community for this same purpose, so I could actually moderate it. I'm going to put that information in this community, but I would love to post the info over at psych_tv, if that's ok.

The new community is psychflashfic.

I would love for you to participate in the first challenge. :-D!!

A new comm might be the best way to go, since you'll be able to actually mod it, but I'd love to see -something- go up again. :)
