Another semester begins.  The rat race continues.  this semester will be tough for me.  I'm teaching a new to me course:  Inorganic Chemistry and a new lab for me:  Quantum Chemistry.  Maybe I'll find a way to demonstrate tunneling in lab.  I'll try to get 2 research students for the semester.  Then I'll sit down and cry that I don't have any time ( Read more... )

Alrighty, I finally got my Wii for christmas and I've had some decent time to put into the system.  Yes I'm procrastinating at work today, lol.  I've got a meeting at 1:30 to figure out the grant writing process here at TCNJ.  I'm also trying to get my summer research gig up and going so I can work at Princeton with a student this summer.  ( Read more... )

Fed Ex dammit.

So you would think if I needed something fed ex'ed over night I am in a hurry. Well, I was told, this is not as easy as you would think. It might go out tomorrow (Thank god I was a day early).

That was a much needed break!  I was extremely worn down by the kiddies at school.  I even cut my lecture short Tuesday so they could get out 15 minutes early.  I just wasn't feelin' the lecturing vibe.   I think I went on break on Monday when I got home.
