who is the big spoon/little spoon
They never start out spooning--that’s much too organized and deliberate for them, really. Sometimes they wake up that way, though, usually with Max spooning Ryan, but it has been known to happen both ways.
what is their favorite non-sexual activity
Ryan really enjoys fucking with Tom, and unlike most of the people Ryan likes to fuck with, Max does not actually discourage him. Sometimes when they’re on break from rehearsal, Ryan will start whispering really dirty shit to Max where he knows Tom will overhear. Usually, though, this just takes the form of late night prank calls where they pretend to be Jon Walker. it doesn’t usually work, but if they catch Tom when he’s mostly asleep they can sometimes manage it.
who uses all the hot water in the morningMax. He likes to act all put-upon, like living with Ryan is such a chore, but Max is total hot water hog--he turns the shower on really hot and stays in till it starts to go cold ( ... )

I, too, would really love to move in with them. I want them in my life all the time, and that seems like the best way.
I kind of really love the idea that Jon just accepts the fact that sometimes Tom refers to conversations that never happened and moves on--maybe once or twice when he was out in LA he did call Tom really late when he was wasted and forgot about it, so he goes with Tom's weirdness in this way for a while. Eventually, though, one of them works it out--it might even be Tom himself.
Max needed to get them to have a system! Otherwise it was chaos! Anarchy! Having to eat that weird cereal at the back of the cupboard for dinner because it was too late at night to shop! And yeah, they're totally basically married.

who is the big spoon/little spoonThe thing about the three of them is that it’s rare enough that they’re all in the same city, state, or, occasionally, even the same country at the same time, and when they are, they’re all running on different sleep schedules, anyway. Andrew is a morning person, all early-to-bed-early-to-rise, whereas Emma doesn’t feel really human till noon, and Jesse has weeks of insomnia interspersed with weeks where he sleeps ten hours a night, so when it comes right down to it, they rarely all snuggle together at once. when it’s just Andrew and Emma, he’s the big spoon and they look all traditional and Hollywood and perfect and Jesse’s breath catches just looking at them sometimes, they are so gorgeous. Jesse and Emma sleep face to face, snuggled close and often holding hands, which Andrew thinks is too adorable for words, and has about a million pictures of saved to secret file on his computer labeled ‘tax information. They all do, pretty much. Jesse spaces them out now and then, but he usually remembers in time.

Um, it is possible that in my head Ryan Ross is always the littlest spoon? I am sorry for the lack of originality, there. But usually they don’t start out that way--they fall asleep all tangled together and haphazard, but sometimes Mark gets ~ideas~ during the night and has to get up and write them down, or text them to Dustin because if he can’t sleep, no one’s going to, and then when he gets back in bed, and his feet are cold and he feels almost a bit regretful for getting up in the first place because Ryan is only out visiting for a few more days, he climbs into bed and spoons up behind him.
what is their favorite non-sexual activityOh, man, one of these trips when Ryan comes up to see Mark directly after tour, when he’s still kind of wired from the show adrenaline, he gets it into his head that they should have a dinner party! Which means they should learn to cook! Because the kitchen and dining room in Mark’s house are the most unused and Spencer would totally disapprove, it’s not practical ( ( ... )

Sometimes when Ian’s got his guitar out and he’s not playing anything specific, just messing around, Nicole will come over and sit next to him, lean her head on his shoulder and start singing along nonsense words, or narrating her day to the music. She’s not much of a singer, but Ian still thinks it’s the greatest thing--he’s plotting a way to record it next time.
who uses all the hot water in the morning
Whichever one of them gets up first--they both love the hot water. If they get up at the same time, they sometimes race for the shower, which can actually get kind of dangerous. Usually when this happens, one of them slips and falls and the other one feels so bad they end up showering together.
what they order from take out
They like to try a new restaurant every time and then keep a list of the best ones, so when they need something they know is going to be good, they know where to go.
