...in conclusion, Parks and Rec is an evil vortex of evil. And now I want to watch more.

I finally watched Parks and Rec today. That is, after hearing about it and thinking, "I should maybe watch that," for many many months, I got home from class today feeling like shit and wanting to veg out, and my roommate was watching the pilot. So we watched. And we watched. And then we watched some more until season one was over. Then, just for ( Read more... )

(I tried, but drabbles are hard--here, have a double-drabble. It's only a hundred words more? And a tiny bit of angst may have seeped in--for that I'm sorry ( ... )

Oh God, I didn't mean it had to be a hundred words! Just that I wasn't looking for length. :D

THIS IS GORGEOUS. ♥____♥ Look at them.

I TRIED TO AVOID THE ANGST. At least it was domestic? :D? I will admit, I have a massive weakness for them post-Privilege, pre-FOTK--I still mean to write Jessica-goes-to-visit-them fic soon.

I HAVEN'T READ PRIVLEGE, AND I NEED TO - it's just arrived in my letterbox two days ago, I actually didn't even know it existed until recently. (HOW DID I NOT KNOW?)

So I am le excite!

And it's really lovely, and only slightly angsty.

I love Privilege a lot, though some people I've talked to have said it takes a while to get into *shrugs*. Let me/your journal-reading public know what you think of it? I love book discussions oh so much.

I will try! :D I am crap at book discussions, I am very like, "YEAH BUT IT WAS GREAT" and then people try to get down to finer details and I'm like, "oh i forgot what happened :(".

But maybe if I post very soon after reading it that will work better! :D

teehee, yeah, I do that sometimes, too. But there will be a scene in this that you will definitely remember! And you will know it when you see it!

Anyway, enjoy!

Alec likes to make statements, sometimes, to see how much information he can get back without expending any effort.

*laughs* Yes, this is just so Alec!

Richard laughs, feels Alec’s head shift closer to Richard’s hip where he’s sitting up in bed, sheet pooling low on his waist.

Ooo, lovely imagery there *sigh*

Yes, he’d known how Alec looked when they were younger, sprawled out across most of the bed when Richard came home in the morning. He doesn’t remember knowing this, though, the slow tensing and sharpening feeling of Alec coming more and more awake just little at a time beside him

I really like the wistifulness here, Richard mourning just a tiny bit for their early life together, and perhaps wondering what their life together now is going to be like.

Thank you so much! I shouldn't be online right now, but sometimes email checking is unavoidable, and when I saw your comment, I couldn't resist.

I have such a soft spot for these two at this point in their chronology--basically I want all the stories ever of them renegotiating their relationship and finding new ways to fit together when neither of them have anything to fight anymore.
