You didn't say if you're a newbie to the software, or not...

Also, have you done any of the TUTORIALS here, yet? (Working with various tutorials -- even if they aren't exactly what you want to learn -- can make you more familiar and comfortable with using PSP9...)

I'm not sure what kind of wallpaper you want to make. Are you interested in learning how to do a blend, for example?

As for 'cutting out people,' this is hard for everyone to do. There's no 'easy' way to do it. But I suggest you use the Freehand Selection Tool (lasso), set to Point to point -- and be sure to Zoom in, so it makes it easier to see. Start by going to Layers > Promote Background Layer. Then do little bits at a time (and hit the Delete key on your keyboard). Plus: Always work with a copy of your image, just to be safe. (smile) If you make a 'mistake,' you can always go from the 'Add' Mode to the 'Remove' Mode, by the way ( ... )

Thank you so much for all the suggestions Charlie I'm not a newbie to PSP9 I just don't know what I'm doing in terms of make a wallpaper. I get how to blend okay although it's still a bit hard I can only blend photos that are from the same place I can't really blend well with different ones I wish I knew how to do that better too, but I guess you can only learn so much at a time. I guess I can try and make something from the Tutorials on here now I have time to. I'm not too familiar with layers either maybe I just need more practice or something I don't know. I'll definitely be sure to check out PSP8 for more tutorials I'll see if I can come up with something at least decent. I've been trying to work with the different tools for the cutting out of people, but they don't seem to work I'll just have to practice more with the tool I guess.
