When I download a font, I unzip it & put it in my fonts folder & everything works fine, but then for some reason, it's not on my PSP font folder, can anyone tell me why?
Do you actually install the font or do you just put the font file in the fonts folder without installing it? Are you getting the font while PSP is open? If so, you might need to restart PSP to get the font to show up after it's properly installed.
I don't know whether that first one makes a difference or not, actually, it's just the first thing that popped into my head. I've got PSP as well and have never had that problem.
Actually, you do not have to install a font to be able to use it in PSP! I have tons of fonts downloaded into a 'My Fonts' folder (that I created) where I deliberately don't install them (too many installed fonts can cause problems) -- but I have no difficulty using them.
When I want to use one of these fonts, I just go to the folder and open the font file (double-click it). That brings up a window of the font, with the full name clearly displayed across the top. You can easily see/preview the font before using it, which is a big plus!
Then you minimize this window -- but don't close it. You can easily 'restore' it from the Task Bar if you need to confirm the font name for use in PSP. (I sometimes have several such fonts open at one time.)
The use should be the same as for any installed font at this point...

Good luck.
