As far as I remember, they took the right amount of money when I dealt with them, but took it from the wrong person.

I'm not sure which to tick. When I shouted at them for long enough on the telephone, they gave me my money back. They'd been billing my mum incorrectly for a year, and gave her *lots* of money back onto her account. Well, they said they were going to anyway.

I'd say if you needed to intervene, that's taking money. If they'd say taken too much money and then a day or two later given it back with an *unprompted* apologetic letter, that's probably not.

I am about to begin dealing with NTL - they come to connect things up on Friday. I am advised to keep careful records of *everything*.

Is there another option? They've just set one up, but I'm prepared to wait for hours on hold to change this if there's another way to do it (standing order?)
