Yes, I figured it was probably a hamster-shaped hamper. Or maybe a hamper-shaped hamster, but that would be a lot more worrying.

That's what I would have said, I think, too. It may have been "on the bottoms of hamsters", now I think about it more closely. Does this make a difference?
