i don't even know where to start praising this. (also i think you meant 'beginning to hum'? :3)

but i think my favourite line in the entire fic is back when he felt almost invincible, because he had lee jinki, and that was all that mattered, really.

it's almost like he realizes the castle walls that protected him for so long are starting to crack and reality seeps in.
