I love my dark hair color but every now and then I want to go bleach blonde. I nearly did it once but was (wisely?) talked down by the hairdresser to a dark blonde/light brown color instead, and after a year of playing with blondish then red colors it took ages to get back to just my virgin hair. I hated the texture of the dyed hair. It felt dry

And I totally know how you feel about the blonde thing. I tried it but hated the grow-out with a fiery passion, but I like it on most everyone else. So, never doing that again.

My hair is such a dark brown that even when it was that dark blonde/light brunette it was just bugging the hell out of me so I imagine with bleach blonde it'd be even worse. :( Every now and then I get amnesia or something, but I'd probably look completely washed out anyway. I dunno.
