So I have pretty much ZERO free time on weekdays with my present job. I'm either commuting, sleeping, eating, or sleeping in my truck. Plus I feel like shit staying up all night and going against all of my natural body rhythms. Gonna stick this job out until I can land something better, but damn if this isn't like purgatory. And yes, I'm pleased to have money coming in, but . . . but . . . Holy butt on a butt.

Interview on the horizon? Part-time position, but possibly more stimulating work than other stuff I'm seeing.

Also: census test was a breeze.

I just finished reading Zeitoun and if you have any interest in human rights violations in the U.S. Uuuuuh. There is an amazing and sad and infuriating example.

Going to attempt NaNoWriMo this year. I AM ALREADY BEHIND AUGH. Yes, I am adapting Lazaar-the-dead-draenei-mobster's story into a real-world Russian immigrant context. Got a job to hold me until December doing clerical assistant work and occasionally helping with agricultural research. My art/design stuff lives on the side (and largely unpaid).
