Yeah, art CDs. CDs filled with art, and such. I dunno, it's what a lot of people like to give out... though that might just be dealers? I dunno.

From my many years of going to Anime North, I'd say your best selling items will be smaller things that people feel less guilty about buying, like stickers, buttons, and bookmarks. Also, the more popular the anime is at the time, the better they will sell. So, last year it was Death Note and Bleach, before that it was Naruto and FMA, before that it was Advent Children...

Right now I would guess Avatar is the most popular (not technically anime) anime. I'm not really as immersed in the culture as I used to be, though. But then, there are some old classics you're pretty much guaranteed to sell - FF7, Kingdom Hearts, Gundam Wing - pretty much anything with a large yaoi-loving fangirl following. My recommendation would be to go to cosplay.com and browse through the newest costumes - whichever anime is most popular to cosplay from usually parallels what'll sell best at a corresponding convention.

Yeah, I found a few lists that rank the most popular/watched/whatever anime and will shortly be selling my soul to produce art for that. Stickers is a pretty keen idea, I hadn't thought of that.

Also, do you get your fur and stuff online or a store?

Also also, for something simple like ears, would I be ok with just hot glue? I don't want to get into trying to learn how to sew faux fur. :c
Also also also, do you dye your furs?
Alsox4 TELL ME EVERYTHING YOU KNOW. I KNOW YOU'RE WORKING FOR THE RUSKIES

Sewing faux fur really isn't that different from sewing anything else, but yeah, hot glue will do you just fine for small items that won't see a lot of stretching / bumping / scuffing. I don't dye my furs, and I get them from Fabric Land, which every once in a while has really gorgeous (often expensive) stuff that I'll buy a little of, say, just enough to make a head or partial of, and then the store tends to never have it again. o_o
