...it seems that there are people who seem determined to challenge the curfew that the Avatars have set down... Please, do not go to such an extent. The Avatars have threatened disobedient people with a punishment, and this is not an empty threat. The one in charge of the night watch, Xuchilbarra...he is as powerful as the Avatars say ( Read more... )

Maa, don't be such a kill-joy! Monster-san---Xuchilbarra?---should be loads of fun to play with. As long as he doesn't preach. If he preaches, that's just annoying.

...sir, my companion was nearly torn in half simply for stepping outside at evening; she could easily have been killed.

Why must people search for such danger?

Because it's fun, of course.

Your friend must not be very good at games. Poor dollbaby. Next time, she should start with a weaker playmate, and then move up from there.

...if I may say so, sir, having one's body torn in half does not seem like much fun.

It was not a matter of skill, sir, as I assure you that she is much more powerful than most people. The monster is not one to be taken so easily.

From my experience, pleas such as your own rarely work against the majority of humanity, unless they deep down believe what it is you are trying to get them to do.

It seems nice that you would care so much about these people you would attempt it.

Perhaps it is true that my plea will have little effect, but I do not think it is a bad thing to try, at least.

As a doctor, I cannot simply watch people attempt to throw their lives away...that is all.

No, I don't think that it a bad thing, I just... I couldn't see myself doing the same thing.

Ah, you are a doctor. It seems you are more of a true doctor than the ones I have encountered in my life.

Why not, if I may ask?

I am merely doing what I feel is right, sir, nothing more.

I see...They should have warned you as such...

Well, a curfew is a rule that says you cannot leave your house after dark.

Avatars are the people who have been making these rules and making sure that people keep them.
