No no-- Jon Pertwee's Doctor used Venusian Aikido, not ninja moves.

I'll give 'em points for home made animation, but two quibbles: one, the Doctor doesn't use violence unless he's backed into a corner (Even if they are asking for it), and two, who th' heck was the naked chick? If that was Jo Grant I'm more than a little scared to think what they'd do with Leela or Peri.

That said, The Cybermen looked great (especially the dying one), the Master was just right, and the Daleks... well, any trouble they have making the Daleks work in an anime style won't fall entirely on their shoulders, IMHO-- they're just too static. Without redesigning them (SACRILEGE!!) they'd have to rely on direction and editing, which if they don't have enough experience can backfire in a nasty way.

I think the naked chick and the extreme violence were jokes. It wasn't just animated Doctor Who, it was ANIME Doctor Who. Violence and fanservice required.

I thought that was hilarious. Very cool stuff.

I know that that's the stereotype but as a fan I'm annoyed by the fact that that's the stereotype. A'course, stereotypes rarely occur in a vacuum so there's that to consider.

I don't know if I'd go so far as "hilarious" but I was impressed, high cool factor indeed.

I also loved the design of the Cybermen. They look good as giants. Of course, the Daleks looked the same, there are some things that just can't be improved. :)

I just HAD to submit that Brains and Blood Clot site to Cake Wrecks. While excellently executed, it was just too gross not to send it to them!

John Hodgeman on BSG was brilliant casting. The moment I heard his voice, I knew they were screwed. If you want a cheery expert who isn't as reassuring as he should be, Hodgeman for the win.

Oh, one more thing. I'm willing to bet that the direction they gave him for this was, "Just be yourself."

I was just relieved that the rumors were false, and Kyle Reese was not actually making an appearance on SCC. The day they interfere with Kyle's character or continuity is the day I stop watching the show.

I liked that they chose to have Sarah talking to a phantom Reese. It's a much-appreciated nod to some deleted scenes from T2.

Am I the only person who thinks Shirley Manson is trying to build a cuter, cuddlier Skynet? Maybe one that will try to peacefully coexist with humans, so John Connor is rendered useless?

You're definitely not the only one--I've been mulling the same theory for some time now, ever since the whole child/computer thing started. Nice to know I'm not alone!
