Stephen Fry was also the awesome Dr. Gordon Wyatt from Bones. He was the psychologist who helped Booth after the clown shooting incident. I loved him in that role!

I can't help feeling that there ought to be a crossover fanfic where Dr Wyatt tries to work with Dr Gregory House. The trouble is that House is so different from the characters Laurie plays in their double-act work, it'd be tricky to work in the requisit number of in-jokes.

I think it was on a podcast/interview with Kevin Smith where the idea came up of Fry playing Dr. House's "mentor" from medical school.

Stephen thought he'd have to play someone so comically horrible that he'd be strolling up the corridors of the hospital, severing limbs off of hapless patients. :)

Still, I'd love to see him do a few shows on "House," if not a whole season.

This will be moot once the Universal Crossover Fanfic is finished. It's an encyclopedic story that includes every character ever invented interacting with every other character.

I love Pumpkin Way! In fact, it inspired me to carve this and this.

It's fun.

I've never done the actual "carving" like did on those marvelous teeth, though I'd love to try.

I did find that, while messy, a "Roto-Zip" makes short work of most pumpkins. What form that work takes is often more up to the tool if you're not ready for it. :)

don't know if you saw this or not, but http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8HE9OQ4FnkQ
Some folks took the video to A-Ha's take on me, and did a literal reversion of the song, as if the song was about what the video actually depicted. It's hilarious and catchy as hell =)

I just wish that we could either (a) get QI on BBC America OR (b) buy QI DVDs in Region 1 format.

Region formats suxxor.

I hear that. I've found that a few of their "vodcasts" have made it on to YouTube. They were basically a "best segment" from the show along with some unaired clips (mostly bloopers or the panel going off on a tangent).

But I'm glad they were saved since they were originally put up on the net and (1) only accessible if your computer was in the UK and (2) the clips were encoded to stop playing after four days.

Gotta love the massive DRM they ream you with. You should be able to buy things from them and make your money stop working before they can spend it.

Just wanted to mention that I updated the 4e character generator I linked you to last week. Among other things, you can now print the character stuff directly off the site. Hope you find it useful.

I know I will!

Now all that's left is some asides that say something along the lines of "yes, you can play a Paladin with 13 Wisdom, but I really wouldn't do that if I were you..." :)

Well, not if your other rolls are all 9's. :D
