To be fair... kevinbunny May 27 2011, 07:05:25 UTC
The Italians aren't upset that the geologists failed to predict an earthquake.

It's that they said an earthquake would be 'very unlikely', albiet with the caveat that they're unpredictable.

On the flip side, I think there were some interesting rises in ocean temperature or other events preceding the earthquake in Japan, so maybe they're on to something somewhere.

At the moment, I think all we've got is 'the animals is gettin' spooked' to go by.

I'm disappointed there wasn't a cupcake in that empty slot below Astatine (At - Yes, I looked it up at Wolfram Alpha website.) with a ? frosting.

Also, there had better be yellow-cake in the Gold (Au) cupcake. Just saying.

Or those little gold-ish balls that are either bad for us, hard on your teeth, or both; I forget what the current judgement on those things are.

I have to say, because it's so rare that this happens in the age of the Internet, but the "Green With Envy" trailer had me completely fooled, until the payoff. I had no idea why my friend had suggested I watch this thing at first.

Haha, I did the same thing to my boyfriend just last night. I'd already watched the trailer (having been tipped off there were Muppets, or I wouldn't have bothered). When I played it for him, he got very confused because he knows I don't like chick-flick fare and didn't understand why I was forcing him to watch it. "What the [redacted] is this [redacted]?" he asked about fifteen seconds in. Then Kermit showed up and he said, "We have to see this!" XD

Amy Adams just sells everything so well, doesn't she?

I'm glad she doesn't work in insurance or for some lobbying firm somewhere.

My money is on the pistol being a derringer style cap gun as I have 2-3 that look just like it (but in a little better condition).

I'm amazed anyone would have the patience to load one cap in at a time. And yeah, the metal's a little pitted here and there, but at least that plastic (bakolite?) handle is still sans cracks.

Keeping the caps in was always a pain - it was simpler to just point it & yell bang. =)

Wow, that's almost it spot-on! Mine feels as heavy as lead, but it looks like it's that blue-ish die-cast metal I had on other toys long ago. Could that just be a patina from being in the ground, I wonder?

But it has to be the same company. Awesome! Thanks!
