Ouch, that's cold man. You're correct, but still.

I know they exist, and I have to figure they're a sensitive lot.

I was staying at a friend's house for a convention, and his wife was giddy with excitement that Voyager's 7th season was coming out on DvD.

I think I injured myself to not say something unkind. And truth be told, it could have been a decent show if not for mishandling the premise (I don't get why they just didn't put a bomb with a timer on the Caretaker's array) and the way the show proceeded (it should have had an evolving crew, a ship that became more patchwork, etc.). And don't get me started about Neelx and Kes. Br-r-r-r...

You didn't exactly break the fourth wall there, but you did hang a very decorative De-Motivational poster on it.

Impressive...

They should grab onto that pretty firmly; I think it could be a signature style for the show, if they're willing to just go nuts with it.

I saw Winslow doing his shtick in a Isle of Capri commercial. Sort of sad, but I'm glad to see he's still able to hit the stand-up comedy joints.

Also, I'm sorry, but the Geek Squaders at Best Buy weren't actually that competent when it came to my computer. I eventually had to just purchase another computer and hope it didn't have the same problem that my last one had when it emigrated to Windows 7. Pity.

I didn't know anyone who went to them, either. A lot of low-end machines that BB sells are almost not worth fixing after a year or so, especially if they're the kind where one component (the graphics card, mostly) is welded to the motherboard.

Still, if it weren't for cheap computers, I wouldn't have the spare monitors, keyboards, and mice that I occasionally find need for. :)

PS38 #47 Alternate Universe Paradox. anonymous January 12 2011, 12:32:32 UTC
It’s clear that the alternate universe earth the PS238 children are visiting in #47 is in fact out own earth. It is a world where people with superpowers exist only in fantasy, hence the two adults who encounter USA Patriot Act et al in costume assumed the children are on their way to a comic book convention or a birthday party ( ... )

Sounds like DC's old version of the 'Earth Prime' setup if that would be the case (Superboy-Prime came from a world where 1) he's the only hero and 2) the DCU exists as comic books)

I admit, I'm behind on my PS238s.
