My vote's for Johnny Storm - never liked the guy, and he's high on my list of "supers I would prefer not to be rescued by" due to not wearing asbestos overalls. Love the phone holder.
I have to admit that I read the "original" FF comics (in a collection, I think), and what I hated about Johnny was how his powers would peter out if he used them for too long; I thought it unfair that the guy who could set himself on fire (and what 10-year-old wouldn't think that was great?) ran out of gas just when he started kicking butt.
I presume that got fixed somewhere along the line, but I can't put my finger on when.
:( Fred Foy was a radio luminary. For those who aren't fans of OTR (old-time radio), I would like to point out that Mr. Foy's narration in the video is from the radio show, not the television program.

Really? It sounded the same when I heard about it on NPR. Of course, they could have had the incorrect audio track.
Fred did say in an interview that once he got to be the Lone Ranger on the radio, as the guy who normally did the character was sick with laryngitis. Foy said he must have done an okay job, as they didn't get any complaints. :)
Same here. I also liked that they had an ongoing plot/story.
And now that I think about it, I loved the Gummi Bears for the same reason I love the Stargate series: There was always the potential for them to find long lost "technology" that had some cool applications.
They killed Reed back in the 90s (along with Doom) during their "extreme" period that included having a teen-age time-traveling Franklin on the team. And Ben wore a metal bucket on his head because his face got all messed up. And Sue wore a costume slutty enough for a Star Sapphire...
I saw it mentioned that he got offed. I've always wondered how "stretchy" guys die; if they just revert to "normal," as if you let go of a Stretch Armstrong toy, or if they did something a bit messier, like how the "Dark Universe" version of Odo went out when he got shot with a phaser.
