I agree with most of your analysis of super-hero movie mistakes, but I think that the Christopher Nolan has done a decent job of defying Mistake the first. I am still not quite sure how he did it in Batman Begins.
Sadly, your Starman link suggests that the film adaptation is not happening. Oh, well. :(
I would really like to see the Joker survive at least one Batman film.
Well, technically, that's happened. The Joker did survive The Dark Knight. It's just that the actor didn't. :-(
I would demand the original voice actors, but even without them, I'd still preorder the DvD.
Hmm. Can't back you on that. I'd preorder if the replaced some of the secondary characters, but if it's not Kevin Conroy and Will Friedle, it ain't Batman Beyond for me.
Technically, the Joker didn't die in The Dark Knight. Heath Ledger did in reality...
However, this might be a better set-up for a later Joker. They send him to Arkham, and then ret-con the different actor into the Joker using the excuse that Arkham changed him.
But no matter what, we're still a film or two away from forgetting Heath Ledger's Joker...
Why not a movie in which the Joker spends the whole time in Arkham and arranges Harley Quinn to commit his share of crimes? She hasn't shown up in live-action form, has she?

I am about to find out whether anyone else from my Sunday game group reads your LJ. We're wrapping up a superhero adventure, switching to steampunk in a week (two at most), and this is something at least three of the other players would have a blast using. And it should be buildable in Hero ....
