Count me in as one of the people who has found your LJ as a result of Backward Compatible. I like it, I'll miss Backward Compatible a lot but this is nice as well. ... and of course, if it is at all possible to, maybe, continue Backward Compatible as well ... here or on it's own site even if it's only update once or twice a week. =)

Hee--the link about the Mass Effect dancing is amusing. And it reminds me a great deal of the /dance actions from Uru: Ages Beyond Myst. Male characters got...pretty much that exact same dance, with the addition of hand clapping. Females got what was affectionately called the 'hoochie dance' by the players. :-)

There needs to be an alien menace that overwhelms by being cute.

And it would be even funnier if that's why they invaded everywhere; they want to finally be taken seriously as bloodthirsty conquerors, but everyone just welcomes them and makes plushies of them and t-shirts featuring their death-cannons firing rainbows. :)
