Man at least you guys have good health care there, though.

Randomly, I went to Berlin for Christmas and we bought Aspirin and it was like 500 mg? That's so weird I'm pretty sure it's a lot smaller in America.

I know, I should be thankful. The problem is, it's a damn mess for those who work in medical jobs... sometimes you feel like you're the big idiot for everyone, especially the Krankenkassen.
Because it really looks like they're doing everything to make our work difficult.

Well, in Germany there are lower dosages as well, 300mg for pain and 100mg for blood-dilution =)

It sounds like it is difficult. I really wouldn't be surprised if they are - things can be like that. But things work out in the end and that's all that counts, right?

Ohh, interesting.

The problem with this new system is, it's already valid, but it's still not finished... not completely thought-out, you know... THIS is what makes working with it a damn mess...

Why do I get the feeling that a lot of things in Germany work like this? I mean, instead of one solid, standardised system that's used everywhere you get lots of smaller, separate systems (or contracts) to do the same thing... But I agree, it does sound complicated. @__@

"Luckily" the only problem in the Finnish system is that currently the whole health care branch is overemployed and underpaid - we have people doing the job of two or three persons but no raise in pay.

well, I guess because we Germans like our bureaucracy (*lol* I was about to write it bureaucrazy |D)
And trust me, it IS complicated OTL I hate it... And I hate the people who thought of that.

Well... I think, we're not paid enough as well for all the shit we have to check and do and stuff =_=
