I wish I knew a thing about Mass Effect so I could get the crossover :(
Good luck with it, despite it eating your life away it sounds like you've got a great story cming along there. And bamf Cas, OMFGWANT.

That's the fun thing about fusions; you don't need to know a thing about Mass Effect because it's not really a true crossover XD

If you want a quick background on the series itself, well...basically, you play as Commander Shepard, a soldier for the Systems Alliance (Earth's government on the universal stage; it's a little complicated) Navy. You have some degree of control over what his/her background and abilities are, but I'm not going to go into specifics. Anyway, the series itself is a galaxy-spanning massive epic that follows Shepard and his/her crew as they hunt down the bad guys. I don't make it sound nearly as awesome as it is, but it's seriously one of my favorite video game series.

Tentatively, my summary for fic is the following:
Mass Effect fusion. Commander Dean Winchester really should’ve expected that being given command of the brand-spanking-new experimental stealth frigate prototype SSV Impala, being reunited with his biotic brother after nine years, and being promoted to Council Spectre all in one go was too good to ( ... )

OHHHH I think a friend may have told me about Mass Effect. Is that the game where there's an alien race the humans are supposed to be in war with, and they're spying on us, and our general turns out to be the spy? Or we end up working for them? I'm spewing nonsense, I wish I remembered more clearly OTL
