It's always a joy to be reading your fic! Your style is amazing. You get me everytime with those little observations of scent, atmosphere, visual. Stuff that mostly isn't there in the kind of fic (enjoyable as they may be) that are more focused on Idk, action.

It's lovely to just sit back and feel those things with the character. And realize, yeah, man, that smell! I love it, too!

And then, just to make it that bit more real you have Dean and his barmaid. LOL! And Sam's exasperation at him.

Yes, your fic definitely lasts longer that the amount of time it takes to read!

Oh, your comments always make me so happy. I'm glad my obsession with smell works for other people, too: this was a moment I really wanted to capture, so it's nice to know it came through for you.

Action...yeah, not a lot of that in my writing. Plots and dialogue tend to frustrate me. I'd much rather just sit back and wallow in the smell of grass and smoke and fresh-washed towels.
