Manip - Captain Marvel (Hero Again variant)
Title: Genis-Vell as Captain Marvel, Hero Again costume variant

About the manip: This is the costume Genis acquires in Captain Marvel (vol 5) #18 when, after the successful "intervention", he regains his sanity after his Mad God phase.
The costume has a brief life as the series ends with issue #25 and when Genis appears next, in New Thunderbolts, he's returned to his classic red/blue costume.
Notes: Variant that happened when I was re-working the Cosmic Awareness costume and wondered how it would look in silver. I liked what I saw, so I decided to make a variant of it, playing a bit with effects to make sure it wasn't just the same manip with a change of color.
The bigger star reflects the different size from this specific costume, when compared to the classic costume, I used a different setting and texture for the fabric pattern, and also different power effects. Technically, Genis powers are always on the yellow/orange hues, but I liked how the red photo-filter worked on the whole composition, so I left the red hue, that enhances the whites on the powered-up hands.
Also, the blue hue of the skin is slightly lighter, and the stars of the cosmic awareness are different.
Notes 3: Although ready in July, it was held back one month so to post it the day Genis-Vell: Captain Marvel #2 was released.
My goal would be make the Photon, Mad God/Kree and Genis(no cosmic awareness) variants to post each month the same day of the issue to celebrate the release of the miniseries. I don't see myself managing it, but never say never.
Tec stuffs (aka Behind The Manip): Nothing much to add here. Same hurdles of the Cosmic Awareness costume, as this came to be as a color variant of that one.
The fabric pattern looks better on this one, for some obscure reason. I still don't know how to make realistic fabric but this is better than whatever I was doing before (as my first attempt at Genis from 2013 can attest).
