Manip - Jim Kirk in Casadei pumps

Notes: It's all Wolfi-sama's fault, actually. Fine, it isn't the first time she does something with a man and high heels shoes but... yeah: she reblogged this post about Jim Kirk be "the kind of person who'd wear high heels simply because he likes them", regardless gendered clothing. I kinda agreed with that, but I felt the need to share that it would even be better if it was AOS Jim ("Pine’s pretty ankles… And let’s not forget that our Pine kinda has a kink for high heels…"). From there to actually searching for some pic to put that idea into manip... it was a matter of minutes.
Tec stuffs (aka Behind The Manip): Chronicles of how this manip made me pull my hair is here. The original image was small and in a very low quality, and it showed on the red shoes: there were two ways to fix this issue and it was either smudging the hell out of them or find another pair of shoes. Guess which one I picked? However, replace the red pumps with a new pair was easier said than done: given the odd perspective, I had to resort to the only shoes site I knew that provided 360° view even if said site doesn't keep the kind of shoes I wanted for this manip (high fashion shoes with very tall and very thin heel): lucky for me, there was one pair of Casadei (which is a high fashion Italian shoes brand) that exactly fit my needs.
Then, since I've no limits on the levels of masochism I can reach, I decided that I could as well try and put the man on the reboot command chair, instead of the metal chair of the original pic. Well, there virtually is NO photo of the JJ Abramsverse command chair outside screencaps; there are few pics about the replica that went on auction in 2009 but they're small and taken from a standing point of view. There are also a couple of pics of fans sitting on it at two different events. None was usable. So... I went and edited (see = rebuilt 50%-60% of it) from a screencap of the 2009 crew posing with JJ sitting on it.
I wasted too much time in trying to place the bridge on the background but there's not HD pic of it so, in the end, I scratched that and decided to go for the white bg like in the original pic.
To summarize: I paid, and paid dearly, that Pine's heads had a background that was super-easy to remove.
