Scorpions, oh scorpions...

Congrats to me for conquering another step in the whole "get over your scorpions' fear" thing: managed to get rid of the animal with dustpan and the handy convenience of the balcony. I'm not sure which one of us, me and the scorpion, had shitted themselves more during the whole thing, but yeah, mission accomplished ( Read more... )

Holy crap, you guys have scorpions that run rampant there? That's horrifying! Man, I didn't realise how good I had it back home in Canada. I have this weird little worm things that pop up once in awhile, but they're NOTHING compared to the terrifying cockroaches I've found in Australia (SO scary), and your scorpions!

Oh, don't get scared: our scorpions aren't the "ohmygodscorpions!!" you're used to see in movies: they're instead little and almost no harmful, since their bite does the same "harm" as a bee's. :)

There's an abundance of them in the whole South Europe (but in England too, if I remember right), and I have a villette with a big garden and stone's wall: they love those walls. :D

No, sarebbe sparito. A giudicare dalla traiettoria, forse usciva dalla finestra, ma non è detto, quindi meglio che l'abbia beccato. Sperando che non ritorni in casa da sotto però. XD
