Sorry, honey. The art prompted me to write something that usually sitrs in my mind but never manages to make its way to my fingers (aka, them breaking up for some reason). :( Blamed it to the artist, I'm a mere messenger. Sort of...

Yes, in this case they can't work as couple and by breaking, in my mind, Jim wanted to prevent them breaking as friends/team duo too.
Sorry for this angsting, but luckly our is the fandom of the t'hy'la concept, and many happy fics will come to raise our mood! <3

Actually it was born as a drabble only from Jim's pow but, since I'm genetically unable to write drabbles (as I am unable to write oneshots under 10 pages), I guessed I could as well add Spock too.
Happy to hear it worked better that way! ^o^
