Now rather than evil world domination I'd quite like a cuddle and a nap

Today it is beautiful, sunny and warm. I have lunched deliciously upon free-range eggs and salmon, both fried and laid upon fresh toasted bread with avocado and a sprinkling of salt (bliiiiiiss). I find myself in a chipper mood, specially since I seem to have finally evicted the bug that's been living in my tummy for the last week.

In celebration, here are some nice things )

I'm so glad you're feeling better and am wildly envious of your tomatoes! ;-)

Thanks! I'm pretty sure your eggplant balances my tomatoes :)

One thing I really miss about living in the UK is listening to BBC Radio 4. The comedy shows are brilliant (I used to enjoy listening to The Unbelievable Truth), and Desert Island Discs offers gentle, delightful, fascinating interviews. I'm really impressed that they've been able to upload so much of the archive; I always assumed that the copyright issues would make it impossible, considering they'd be dealing with many thousands of rights holders.

I, too, miss Radio 4, although lots of it is still available online on Listen Again or as podcasts, so that's something. They really need to make The Unbelievable Truth available as podcast or audiobook. It bears a lot of re-listening.

They haven't uploaded Terry Pratchett's Desert Island Discs yet - he was on the programme several years ago, and I'm hoping they'll get round to it.
