One Piece is unarguably the most popular manga in Japan right now, though it's not nearly so well-known or popular here. Which is a shame because it's one of the best things I've ever read. I will...happily ramble on about it if you want to hear, haha. Let me know. I've been basically obsessed with it for the last couple years.

Ooh, yeah, and Claymore is another one of my favorite series. The anime adaption is pretty good, up until the last couple arcs, where they started deviating from the original storyline. If you haven't read the manga, DO, because at around the battle in the North, events take a very different (and more interesting) turn than in the anime, and it's still ongoing. :D

I fell behind for a while, because UGH, the pacing issues can KILL sometimes, but I love the voice cast too much to stop watching, and a lot of the moments ARE awesome to see animated. A few of the more recent episodes have really driven home the point that Tanaka Mayumi is too amazing for words. I've been watching the recent arc and I'll be pretty much fine, and then Luffy says something and MY HEART BREAKS. Not even exaggerating.
