Aw, happy birthday! I thought of making a specific post saying so but thought instead of just catching you in a comment somewhere. This works infinitely better.
On Nanowrimo: I think it's actually much harder to do nano the second time around because since you've already done it once and have an idea on plotting, characterization, and linearity, you want to do a better job then the first story. So it's kind of like, the first time you throw everything to the winds and just do it. The second time, you want to throw everything to the winds but keep it organized and structured (even if you don't have a plot).
*shrugs*
I don't know, but regardless, good luck with your novel and just out of curiosity, why can't you switch between character POV? If it's permissible, can't you just add an extra character and run with that?
It's a thought if you think it'll make the story flow better.
Hm, that could be. Hee, maybe I'll just choose to believe that. As for the POV thing, that's just kind of how it turned out? I only really HAVE one main character so far, and I think creating and fittng an extraneous one would actually be even more work, haha. It was just kind of nice before, because if I got stuck on one section, I could just end it and turn to another character. Instead, I have taken to just jumping ahead slightly if I don't feel like writing out a section. XD

As for the NaNo, do you have a plan for something to switch to? I've seen a lot of people jumping tracks in NaNo, and I kinda find it fascinating. :)

And...no, not really. Hopefully this will start clicking better so I don't have to.

You could always pull something from the They Fight Crime! website. I've always thought that'd make a good random novel generator. Thing.
