Part of me feels like I should be updating my journal more now because I can again. Honestly, though, I really haven't got much to say. So I haven't.

I've somehow turned my 31_days challenge into a write one fic for every fandom you have challenge...

The worst part though? I know they need polishing, but I'm not even trying, :P

Sometimes that's fine, though. I know I hamstring myself by worrying too much about getting things polished and "perfect," when sometimes it's just more important to get things written, you know?

It can be a really tricky line to walk as far as writing goes. There are times when I need to apply a little pressure to myself in order to actually be productive, but at the same time I don't want to completely force myself, because that sucks all the fun (and sometimes quality) out of writing. :\

I think part of that is just that my friendslist is quite a bit bigger now, and it's harder to stay on top of everything.

I hear you on this one. I've got a backlog of 60 tabs open on my web browser that I am determined to eventually get through. Unfortunately, this always happen if I skip a day or 2 of catching up on LJ and that seems to happen once a week. >.< One of these days, I'll have to whittle my community list down to next to nothing. It might help ^_^

I do user filters as far as communities go, otherwise I don't think I could keep up at all. I mean, I have one filter that is just all the personal journals I have friended, and then I have the communities sub-divided by topic/fandom. I could probably clear out a few inactive ones, but I suppose that wouldn't do much in the way of slowing down the rate of posts.

GAH. Also, I have read the flashfic you wrote for me and ♥♥♥! I am just lame and haven't found the time to sit down and write a nice comment for it yet. But THANK YOU.

I do that a lot. I skim over the entries to see what's going on with everyone. Then by the time I go back to comment I forget or don't have time. :/
