Damn
Heart, meet shattered into a million pieces. At first I honestly thought Cas was a ghost, and then he was there and I re-read the hill bit and it all came together and just...asdfkla;vfnk poor boys. And then Jimmy's dad, with the comet. I LOVE THIS ALTERNATIVE INTERPRETATION.

Look! I have the net after all! Now I get the best of all worlds. Like wonderful comments like this.

Thank you very much! :) I'm so glad you liked it, and I'm glad you noticed the whole implication of Jimmy's dad with the comet thing. Wasn't sure that was going to come across.

Thank you for reading.

Wow. That was all kinds of awesome. You should post this in the Jimmy Novak community on LJ. There so needs to be more Jimmy. Cas as god is still scary.

Hahahaha, you're icon.

Thank you, my dear. I'm glad you found it "awesome" instead of maudlin. lol.

I will take that advice I believe (especially as I see you have posted the community below. Thank you.)

This was beautiful! ;_;

Did Castiel go back to change the past so that Jimmy wouldn't say "yes" to him in the future?

Haha. Thank you.

That would be telling. ;) This was one of those things where I didn't have his motivations in mind so much as the dialogue wrote itself, and I therefore have no idea. So, it's a personal interpretation thing. It also sort of ended up implyng that maybe he hasn't attained freewill as much as he thinks he has.

Thanks for reading.

Thank you very much. :) I'm glad you enjoyed it. I was a little bit nervous about implying that their freewill has been illusory (especially b/c I love the way they deal with that theme in the show). But I think it worked out in the end.

Thanks for reading.
