Powerful piece of writing!! I don't tear up easily, but I had tears in my eyes at the ending. I love how Prowl was calling to Jazz with a song, the one medium to reach his mech's spark with through all the noise and obligations and grief and weight of the world. Jazz heard Prowl singing for him...Beautifully heartbreakingly perfect!!

Thank you! I was actually kind of worried about how this fic would go over, seeing as it's a twisted sort of happy ending kind of thing.

I've always loved that song for them, even if I'm not a big fan of the band.

I love how Prowl used a song to get through to Jazz too... he knows his mech so well, that bot. Poor Jazz... post-movie has always been hard on him, losing Prowl and everyone else... but as long as they're together somewhere in the universe, they'll be happy.

Exactly. Not a traditional 'happy ending' by any means, but they're together. I always hated that Jazz was the only 'old guard' left at the end of the movie.
