That was incredibly sweet. I love...well, I pretty much love everything, from Prowl singing his mourning song to switching it to a bonding song to Optimus joining (was he "officiating"? Or just singing with him? Either way I loved it). The ending made me grin and turned me into a puddle. =D

Optimus was singing the officiant's part of the song, yes. I'd written a long explanation of what happened, and re-read it and deleted it. It stands better this way. Honest. I talk too much anyway. I'm glad you liked his part, though. I ♥ Optimus.

Quite frankly, now that I'm reading it again with clear eyes, I think it is clear enough from what you already have what is occurring, especially in regards to Optimus. This flows a lot better without an explanation in it!

Bucket is doubly needed after rereading it--prickly eyes and a grin on my face. =D
