Haven't gotten to see it yet, but now I know what to look for to have an um, something pretty to look at in depth discussion. *nod nod*

LOL All you need for a pretty discussion is how Hardison and Eliot kick ass every ep ;)

Well d'uh!!! They really are like siblings! When they got Hardison out of the coffin and Eliot was like "don't you EVER do that to me again." I was all n'awwwwww....

It was the little sniffle that sold it :)

Mark my words... that treating Hardison like a brother is going to land both of them in very hot water. Eliot has exposed a weakness

Ummm, unnecessarily setting up all the people who helped me to become sitting ducks on terrorists's hit list? That would be a little too far. I think I'd be afraid the kid would find out and be properly disgusted with me.

I don't even want to know how Eliot will react next time Sterling shows up.
and it's not as if Sterling is invulnerable to hacker skills. or others, for that matter! And I wouldn't blame them for destroying him at this point, whether he comes up with anything useful or not, it's not going to balance the scales.

I'm hoping Eliot beats the crap out of him. Or that he never shows up again- I'd prefer that, actually.

Yeah, he's degenerated to the point where he's just evil for the sake of being evil, and the whole team has to become a bunch of naive bumblers so his evil schemes can work out. It really weakens every episode he's in.

I usually love eps in various shows where antagonists team up with protagonists, but usually that's because they have no other choice, and it's fun watching them snark at each other out of frustration at being forced into close quarters, not because the team is DUMB ENOUGH TO FALL FOR HIS CUNNING PLAN. I thought the last ep, with them outconning a conman by NOT trying to con him was clever, and then this ep...just undermined everything the team's mean to be. Gah.

I really loved the ep, until the last scene where nobody but Eliot is pissed at Sterling. Really dislike that- they can be good guys, glad to have helped a girl to a better life, blah blah blah, and still rightfully be angry that their lives were put in danger. I don't like that Nate and everyone's brushing it off, 'oh, take the win', when hello, so many things could've gone wrong. Parker could've been shot, if Hardison hadn't had her back. Just 'coz nobody got hurt doesn't reflect well on Sterling- it's not like he cared. UGH.

On the bright side, I'm a fan of Ayla, so seeing her here as the chess prodigy was cool!

I agree with you. On one hand, the ep was full of fun. On the other, So. Many. Plotholes. All just handwaved. By the end I was so disoriented with all the wtf!ery I was seriously trying to figure out if there had ever been a plot at all ( ... )

I'm scared the writing on this show is getting to be like Human Target. I loved that show's first season, but it just became crap in the second. For a lot of the same reasons as Leverage here- the OOCness, the shoddy attention to detail, the numerous plot holes...look, usually I'm the last person to hate on plot holes, I don't watch for plot, but when you combine that with the degradation of the characterization, it REALLY irks me. (especially Parker, who complained for half the ep about the weight she was lugging around, suddenly having to be reminded about the extra kilos she was packing *eyeroll* COME ON ( ... )
