Anyone have any idea why a computer would just suddenly stop showing pictures on webpages? The rest loads fine. J hit a button or something and is now bitching and doing his grumbling thing

Many web browsers have a function to prevent the auto loading of pictures, he probably accidental hit the hot-key shortcut to activate that feature. If he's using Firefox have him use the "tool" menu and select "options" then check the box marked "load images automatically". Other browsers should have some vaguely similar option.
