So. That? Was not the smartest thing someone has ever done, hm? Killing someone when they come back to life, that is backwards. It is also most stupid. And most annoying. That, I could do with not remembering. You will not find me an easy target again, no, no. I will be armed as of today.

I do not suppose anyone missed me. No matter.

Being killed?

Are you stupid?

[Someone here saw your murder scene in the neighbourhood and has never gone through the ES dying-returning cycle.]

You really came back! I am glad to see your handwriting. Welcome back. Do you feel alright? And with your memory?

I did. It seems people coming back is not a lie, hm? Myself, I feel fine. My memory, I do not know. How do I know if I am missing more than I was before? I would not know I had it.

And yours, it is good to see as well, my good Stellaris.

If you at least remember the people here, I think it is good.

People say those who passed away will return, but it doesn't make waiting less worrying. But for once, the Sphere's oddities do not bring only grief. Unless people who disappear return to their own worlds... oh, I don't know.

Then yes, it is good.

It was not a painless process. I died for this. But at least I have not been set back more, hm?

I don't think you meant to die...

Me? No. Dying does not appeal to me. I will not be doing that again if I have anything to say about it.

Beyond that, it was wrong.

I don't think anyone likes it. You shouldn't! I hope they caught the person who did it.

Fred, she says that they have. I hope that this is true.

You were killed as well?

[Strike-out not immediate - she's not sure if she should be talking about this on the journals. Or talking about it at all.]

Yes. The marking out, I am not sure why you are doing that? We did not mess up. It was the freak.

[Thoughtful pause, and then-]

Call it personal comfort.

Ah. Comfort. That is always something to enjoy.

I suppose a "welcome back" is in order? It does taste strange, that one could die and then return, but seems it's the way this place puts it.

I suppose so, if you are so inclined, hm? There is no escape from the cage.

True that. But since I find some relief in seeing you back, and with your memories intact, it is a sincere greeting. So, it's pleasure to see you again, my good fellow, even if the manner of your return makes me think too much.

I thank you. That people cared is most unexpected. I am glad to see you again as well, my good Mr. Hawk.
