Ok, this just fucking kills me. I love art, in all its shapes and forms, as do most of us in some way or another, goes without saying. I realise that art is subjective, my opinion is certainly not the end all be all of anything. That being said..... WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE. I love Jackson Pollack. I think that 1 was one of the most amazing paintings ever.. There is so much color, detail, and could never have a forgery made of it... I love it...

i enjoy some of jackson pollucks work, mainly because of the method he used. i would love to put my painting boots on and sling paint wildly. but i don't believe it should be worth so much. it seems that people embrace such chaos when there are paintings out there (like van gogh, and dali) that show amazing talent, skill and vision. pollack was just a paint-slinging mad man to me. and i forget the guys name, but some guy painted a yellow canvas, taped off a huge square, which he painted blue, and called it a field of color, he's sold tons of these mindless pieces of shit for millions because people say he had a vision. what? a big blue square? um...ok.
anyway, this got to be way too long. i just meant to say that i found you by looking for people who like the elevator drops. i love them. awesome band. and i believe that's all i have to say.
