yes yes yes
I would have liked more Luna and of course more Draco
Never really had an image of Narcissa though the B&W hair was silly - how had you seen her?
god bless Bonnie Wright's understated acting as it made H\G quite tolerable

but my favourite was the TRULY BIZARRE felix sequence with Aragog's wake!

forgive lack of proper sentences as I have but one hand.

but I like your thoughts.

thank you! I felt quite alone since the people I saw it with didn't have much to say apart from 'meh', and I really really wanted to overthink it like the good little HP fan I am. :) So it's good to know that a) someone made it through that wall of text above, hee, and b) you agree with me!

I really liked that whole Felix sequence. It came off a lot funnier and surreal and right in film.

I hope your shoulder is healing well. *gentle hug*

Luna is fabulous! She's so well-cast. And you're so right about the strangeness of bringing all the Death-Eaters in for relatively little action. And yeah, I hadn't thought that much about Slughorn but he was very well played. It's definitely a solid movie.

She's so well-cast.

Ah, us kooky Irish...
It's interesting to hear a midlands accent onscreen (though, let's be honest, not that pleasant on the ear.) Ususlly any fictional Irish are us city slickers or people from the remote beautiful places.

Hey, so. What I had in mind was just that Evanna Lynch's physical look matches my mental image of Luna from the books. I didn't mean any reflection on Lynch's being Irish. I'm really sorry for phrasing what I said so poorly.

I was joking!

oh dear. *pets you* No, I was just myself reflecting on the kooky Irish thing. I didn't think there was anything at all insulting in what you said.
