Re : 74 - I love almost like being in love but I was dubious about this one (baseball wtf). But I'll try it now if I can get my hands on it.

Re 75 - I have all three, and didn't like them. I had this story in my head about what they were going to be about and they didn't fit, which may be why. Or it just may be that they didn't live up to Tam Lin. One day I may try reading them again. But if you want to borrow the third you're by all means welcome.

And yes, you should totally do these monthly. I need book recs!

Yes, I really liked Almost Like Being in Love, and I almost passed on this because of the baseball too, but I got it through Bookmooch and it was totally worth it. And I got my other two Pamela Dean books through BM, so I'll keep trying.

Hee. Like I rely on your posts, and Ro's posts. :) I'm always glad to see book-discussion/recs on my flist.

I thought Bella and Edward had pretty hot chemistry in the scene with the aborted kissing, actually.

Simon/Inara, really? Interesting, I always secretly shipped that pairing.

Mmmm. I had trouble with "these incredibly overdone shots of longing looks obviously equals true love!" aspect of the film. But when all is said and done, I think my problem with the movie stems from the fact it just can't rise above the turgid crap of the original book.

I think it was implied Simon/Inara, though I can't quite remember now if that was a misunderstanding on Mal's part, or that both Inara and Simon want Mal to think he's misunderstood.
