I'm pretty open to anything at this point, but I'd prefer Welsh, honestly.

Just make sure it isn't anything...too Welsh. There are some pretty awful ones out there.

A lot of people name their kids after their parents or grandparents, if nothing else works.

...Otherwise, it looks like "J" names lead you on successful life paths, so. You can always consider that.

I would, but that could lead to problems with parents and inlaws.
