Hi I was looking for a story where B&D had to go undercover somewhere (or maybe just Doyle does...) but he has no gay sexual experience and Cowley sends him to spend the weekend with Bodie to have a quick introduction as Bodie (unbeknownst to Doyle, I believe) has experience... Tests the partnership.

Do you remember if it was online or in a zine? The only story I've read with this sort of plot is a zine called Suffer Little Children by Tish. https://fanlore.org/wiki/Suffer_Little_Children There may be others, of course.
