I just got this video uploaded to Youtube, and I think it's one of my favorites. Check it out and let me know what you think if you have a chance. That video is fan-freaking-tastic. I really loved the hip work - I need a private lesson or two from you :) The way your hip slides right there at the beginning is amazingly sexy. I love the serpentine movements at 1:45-1:50 - really lovely.

I love the costume as well - where did you get the bra and belt (or the bits and baubles to make it if you made it yourself) and the bangles?

Thank you! I'm glad you appreciated it and took the time to give me some comments. :)

I bought the bra from Magical Fashions, and the belt came from... hm... I don't remember where, maybe it was a gift? (I found it wedged at the bottom of one of my costume drawers in a ziploc bag) The bangles came from all over the place, like swap markets, Italy, and so on.

The dance is fantastic, you look phenomenal! I just took my very first belly dancing class recently and it was so fun... I plan on taking more soon!

Yes, it was SO much fun!! I'm not very good but I can't wait to learn more :).

I can't wait to hear about everything, it's so awesome to hear that the international folklore community is so wonderful too! I've really noticed that there seem to be a lot of kind, great people drawn to folklore :).
